Tip from Gaby
So there you are standing in the lineup waiting
to get out on the floor and perform your first dance
at the Unique DOR or your first Studio Showcase.
Your nerves have grabbed a hold of you and you can’t seem to shake it off.
Here is something you can try: hold your partner’s hand
Look into his or her eyes and take a deep breath together and then push the breath out with force.
The intention is to get on the same breathing pattern as your partner, assuring you that you’re not alone and hopefully release the tension in your body enough to relax the muscles so you can utilize them in an optimum way!
